I finished season two of Skins the other day and whoa. Just...whoa. There sure were some intense scenes this season, and not just where Sid and Cassie were concerned. Anyway, I did a picspam for season one (it's over here in case anyone is interested), so here's the Sid/Cassie-centric picspam of the second season.
Big spoilers, obviously, for those who haven't seen it already.

There's something I find so amusing about the fact that Sid has a half-naked picture of Cassie over his bed.

I feel so bad for Cassie, because this is what started the ball rolling on all the hell they put each other through this season: Sid being a jackass. She didn't even do anything.

Again, nothing to do with Sid and Cassie, but this was probably my favorite moment of the episode. This was the moment Sid chose to tell Tony that his Dad had died: in the middle of a rave. I liked Tony a lot more this season than I did the last season. This was an amazing episode for them.

I think them passing each other on the trains to each other is the perfect metaphor for their entire relationship.

I loved Tony's interaction with Cassie in this episode, hanging out and talking about their "date".

Sidley.

Blunt, Effy. But it did get his ass moving.
And now, the most epic, intense scene in Skins history (well, that I've seen so far). I swear. This scene is just amazing.

And then Sid says some stupid shit, like he always does.

Just 'cause. ;)

A part of me thinks it's really fucked up for Cassie to just leave after Chris dies. But that's kind of what she does when shit gets bad. And on the one hand, Chris died in her arms after all that time of living with him and taking care of him and him taking care of her. It's a horrible situation, so a part of me is also like, can you really blame her?

I loved that they left the ending open like that. I love that we don't know if Sid saw Cassie or she saw him. I like to think they did, but they avoided the clichéd ending of them running into each other's arms, and I loved that.

mouthfullofdust. It's what I used here and I think it turned out very nicely.
Now I have a question: Is season three worth watching? I know the cast switches up and becomes about Effy and her group next, but I'm wondering if you all think it's worth it to keep going.
Big spoilers, obviously, for those who haven't seen it already.

A note about Sid's Dad. I freaking love Sid's Dad. I mean, first this, then the assurance that he was never ashamed of Sid. The scene where Sid found him dead the next morning was one of the most intense things I have ever seen on television. I had the most awful feeling in the pit of my stomach the whole time. It was terrible."There's always another guy. But if she's really special, you have to make sure that guy is you."

I love that they all just glomped all over her."Cassie's back!"

I loved Tony's interaction with Cassie in this episode, hanging out and talking about their "date".

"It's gonna be alright Cass."

Sidley.

"What do you want, Sid?"
"I want you to stop what you're doing, okay? You know: fucking around, fucking anything that moves. Just stop it!"
"You started it!"

"I don't care, I don't care! You're cruel! I hate you!"
"I hate you right back. Why don't you pop over to Michelle's and give her one? Oh, another one!"

"Just give it a fucking rest, okay? You know, it's you and me. You know that, and you're being stupid!"
"My turn!"

"You went away! Why did you go away? You know, I needed you, and you pissed off! My dad said... he said you're special, but you're not! You're just slutting around like a spoilt kid!"
"Michelle, Sid, Michelle!
"I don't love Michelle! I never loved Michelle, I love you, but you...God, where were you? Dad fucking died. I needed you. I mean, Michelle?.. We had great sex for three days and guilty sex for the rest. So what? I don't care! I did it. I hate you. Fine, fuck fifteen year olds. Whatever. I'm sick of saying sorry. I love you."

Maybe my favorite line, but it's hard to narrow it down."You say sorry."

"I didn't fuck him, Sid."

And then Sid says some stupid shit, like he always does.

Well if that doesn't just sum it up right there."I'll love you forever Sid."
"You will?"
"Yeah. That's the problem."

Just 'cause. ;)

Another example of Tony being a good friend."She's thin. She's blonde. She says 'wow' a lot."

This also has nothing to do with Sid/Cassie, but like I mentioned before, I actually liked Tony a lot this season, and I'm glad they made up from the fiasco with Michelle so that they could have this moment. Their goodbye was almost painful. I have no doubt Tony always loved Sid best."I always loved you best Sid."

I loved that they left the ending open like that. I love that we don't know if Sid saw Cassie or she saw him. I like to think they did, but they avoided the clichéd ending of them running into each other's arms, and I loved that.
